The high-level forum brought together global leaders, policymakers, and governance experts to reflect on emerging trends, challenges and opportunities shaping decentralization and multilevel governance systems worldwide.
During the discussions, the Chairman highlighted the Intergovernmental Relations Technical Committee (IGRTC)’s pivotal role in supporting the implementation of devolution in Kenya. He underscored IGRTC’s commitment to strengthening intergovernmental relations by facilitating coordination between the national and county governments, resolving disputes and providing technical advisory on policy and legislative frameworks.
Kenya’s experience continues to offer valuable lessons on building resilient and responsive governance systems that empower citizens at the grassroots level.
