Implementation of the School Feeding Programme

IGRTC Chairman, CPA Kithinji Kiragu, accompanied by CEO Dr. Kipkurui Chepkwony,  participated in a consultative meeting hosted by the Cabinet Secretary for Education, Hon. Julius Migos Ogamba, alongside Murang’a Governor, H.E. Hon. Irungu Kang’ata. The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between the National Government and the County Government of Murang’a in the implementation of the School Feeding Programme in Primary Schools and Junior Secondary Schools (JSS).

The deliberations were anchored on Articles 6 and 189 of the Constitution of Kenya, which underscore the need for consultation, cooperation, and mutual support between the two levels of government in the execution of their distinct but interdependent mandates.
