On the third day of the study tour in Arusha, the delegation paid a courtesy call to Nestor Kayobera, Judge President of the East African Court of Justice (EACJ), marking a significant step in strengthening institutional collaboration within the East African Community (EAC).
IGRTC being Kenya’s focal institution for intergovernmental relations and dispute resolution is leveraging insights from the EACJ’s functions particularly in regional dispute resolution frameworks, comparative approaches to dispute processing and effective mechanisms for resolution and closure to enhance its operations.
The Court’s Appellate Division, is mandated with the overall administration, supervision and strategic direction of the Court.
