Presentation of FY2026/2027 Budget Estimates to Parliamentary Committee.

IGRTC CEO Dr Kipkurui Chepkwony joined the Secretary for Devolution Affairs and Intergovernmental Relations, Mr. Shalle Mahat Osman, in presenting the FY 2026/2027 Budget Estimates before the Departmental Committee on Regional Development, chaired by Hon. Peter Lochakapong.

The presentation highlighted key priority areas and programmes aimed at supporting devolution, strengthening intergovernmental relations and enhancing coordination between the national and county governments.

In his submission, Dr. Chepkwony emphasised the need for increased resource allocation to facilitate the conclusion of costing and transfer of attendant resources, undertake performance assessments of devolved functions across the 47 county governments and address the shortage of motor vehicles within the organization to enhance service delivery.
